Back in grade 8 I had to do an "ENriched EXpoloration" (ENEX) project where I had to choose an occupation or passion/hobby I had. Long story short, I decided to research on polymer clay! It was pretty cool because the project forced me to view polymer clay in another perspective - more like a form of medium. I was really into polymer clay back then and I guess still am to this day. I really wished that I had the time and the motivation to create more miniature pieces though! Also, the thought of adding new charms for sale on etsy has been creeping in my mind. HMMM... Anyways, the project presentation required me to have a hook. Something to grab my classmate's attention. AND THAT IS HOW THE 40 SECOND BURGER TUTORIAL CAME TO BE! So exciting right? Time to catch up! I am so sorry for never updating this website. It's hard to when there's so many different social media sites! Starting today I'll post more ;) IT'S ALMOST EASTER GUYS! Time to write some personalized messages and gift them to others. To do this, why not hide your message in an egg?! Whether you celebrate Easter or not, this tutorial is really fun to do. For myself, Easter is a holiday that reminds myself and other Christians of Jesus' death and resurrection. In one of the eggs I included a bible reference: John 3:16 - " For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"(NIV). My goal for this Easter is to really focus on the main character of Easter instead of the holiday traditions. What do you think? Thank you to all my wonderful subscribers for making my hobby worthwhile! To show my appreciation, I've made this giveaway. Feel free to enter! For more details about how you can enter, watch the video below and read the description box of the video! Make sure to read it over carefully! Watercolour painting is always a fun activity. What if I told you that you could customize and create your very own set of paints? And that is exactly what I will be showing you in this blog post! What's great about this DIY tutorial is that you will know every ingredient used in the watercolour. Plus, it's a great way to spend a boring afternoon. MATERIALS:
1. Combine the baking soda & white vinegarMake sure to pour the vinegar in slowly to prevent the mixture from overflowing. Mix thoroughly. 2. Add in the corn syrup3. Add in the cornstarchThe end result should be like a crepe batter consistency and the mixture should be very smooth and without any lumps. 4. Pour the mixture into its containerMix while you pour the mixture to prevent the cornstarch from sinking to the bottom. 5. Take a popsicle stick and use it to add in the food colouringThe colour of the paint will appear lighter on paper, so make sure each colour is well pigmented. Add in some glitter if you would like. 6. Allow the mixture to dry for at least 2-3 days before using itFor a better understanding of the post, watch the YouTube video:Today is your lucky day, in this blog post I will be posting some polymer clay tutorials I have done so far ;) enjoy! Panda FigurineHeart Shaped WafflesOkay, so maybe I said that I would have more than one video. I have two to be exact.
