Back in grade 8 I had to do an "ENriched EXpoloration" (ENEX) project where I had to choose an occupation or passion/hobby I had. Long story short, I decided to research on polymer clay! It was pretty cool because the project forced me to view polymer clay in another perspective - more like a form of medium. I was really into polymer clay back then and I guess still am to this day. I really wished that I had the time and the motivation to create more miniature pieces though! Also, the thought of adding new charms for sale on etsy has been creeping in my mind. HMMM...
Anyways, the project presentation required me to have a hook. Something to grab my classmate's attention. AND THAT IS HOW THE 40 SECOND BURGER TUTORIAL CAME TO BE! So exciting right?
Time to catch up! I am so sorry for never updating this website. It's hard to when there's so many different social media sites! Starting today I'll post more ;)
IT'S ALMOST EASTER GUYS! Time to write some personalized messages and gift them to others. To do this, why not hide your message in an egg?! Whether you celebrate Easter or not, this tutorial is really fun to do. For myself, Easter is a holiday that reminds myself and other Christians of Jesus' death and resurrection. In one of the eggs I included a bible reference: John 3:16 - " For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"(NIV). My goal for this Easter is to really focus on the main character of Easter instead of the holiday traditions. What do you think?

Watercolour painting is always a fun activity. What if I told you that you could customize and create your very own set of paints? And that is exactly what I will be showing you in this blog post! What's great about this DIY tutorial is that you will know every ingredient used in the watercolour. Plus, it's a great way to spend a boring afternoon.
1. Combine the baking soda & white vinegar
Make sure to pour the vinegar in slowly to prevent the mixture from overflowing. Mix thoroughly.
2. Add in the corn syrup
3. Add in the cornstarch
The end result should be like a crepe batter consistency and the mixture should be very smooth and without any lumps.
4. Pour the mixture into its container
Mix while you pour the mixture to prevent the cornstarch from sinking to the bottom.
5. Take a popsicle stick and use it to add in the food colouring
The colour of the paint will appear lighter on paper, so make sure each colour is well pigmented. Add in some glitter if you would like.
6. Allow the mixture to dry for at least 2-3 days before using it

This is probably the cutest card holder I've ever made! It's a great christmas decoration to hang in your house and easy to make too!
Materials used in this tutorial:
Beads and half pearls
1) Cut out a circle out of card board and cut out an inner circle. This will be the base of your wreath, so make sure it is the size you want your wreath to be
2) Paint your card board base and your clothes pins green.
3) Lay out the clothes pins to make sure you have enough. The mouth of the clothes pin should be facing the outer side so that you can clip on your cards. If you have different shades of green clothes pins, this is the time to arrange the colours the way you want.
4) Use your glue gun to glue down each clothes pin.
5) Tie your ribbon into a bow and tie a knot on another piece to create a loop.
6) Glue on the bow to the bottom of the wreath and also glue on your loop onto the top. This will create a way to hang your wreath
7) Now glue on the rest of your beads and decorations that you would like to use to decorate your wreath.
This DIY was inspired by the ikea spice jars. I had a bunch of pringles containers lying around.. (fatlife) and I told myself that I had to come up with a use for the emptied container.
